VIP Open Hse '06

chanced upon this presentation set-up in the electice hub. kinda agree with it so jus snapped a shot of it to share :p

most of the presentations made nv fail to present that msg. guess it's probably true.

our SCs leading the mass dance.

hey. isn't that our mash potato champ, leon.

e frenship dance (yup. that's e one with e mash potato) is probably up next from wat we observe of leon's smile.

thot he did a great job as a staionary information board until some kid 1) came along, 2)wave and3) jump on his feets and 4) jump highher up and land on his feets again.
>take a closer look at e notice....

last yr, it was oxidation. this yr, it's acid attack. haish....

hmmm.... guess this yr's open hse was a great success. e hall was filled. there was a great deal of potential students and parents ard. and we certainly had lotsa fun. everyone sure did put in their best effort for the day.

hmmm.... would wanna write more. but kinda tired now at 2. 50 am. mayb some ple can give a short write up on the open hse here soon (pls?) (:

enjoy the pics. a picture could tell a thousand words rite? or was it a thousand tales? got total of 7 of them here. so that will be ard 7000 words in a blog post? forgive my crapping. anyway, more pics avaliable at cosiety.

april

doesn't this paper bags look familiar? were u one of ple that were packing them last yr?

last minute brain-storming... shu's theory of relativity.

familiar faces? our juniors frm o6v11...

laekew explainin to a parent how shu's theory can be falsified.

burning e note frm et?

leon always seems to be doin his mash-potato... be careful, zc will be jealous upon seeing this image.

hey, rmb that toliet paper with comics on it. it's on e table. just there....

no, this ain't a horror film advert. jus leanne with a tired smile and e sign board.

sc, shirt tucked out dey.

April is coming to an end. 4 mths had passed. another few more mths, we will be jc1 students and in another 2 years, we will be out of e college. in approx 2 days time, our last major event for e mth of april will rock vj once more. e VIP OPEN HSE.

time certainly past pretty fast. disgustingly fast, quoting from a year 5 senior. in a few snaps of e camera shutter, e open hse '05 was over and this yr's open hse awaits us.

i guess everyone will agree that despite the work, assignments that are weighing us down and getting us all stressed up, we still had lots of fun and laughter for the last 16 mths. e frenship forged... eric n zhengchen. e alliance formed... veeoneone hw e-sharing.

so chill, put on a smile and show e ple coming on sat how great our life had been. take e opportunity to interact with veeoneone peeps that u haven't really worked with (that means u have to learn to be independent, eric n nt stick to ahem ahem). jus have fun basically for that's wat life had been like for us, rite? ;)

strive on veeoneone.

pre-open-hse 1.1: keep v11 clean and nice.

-no multiple-balls games.
no ball games in class.
-no illegal kopin of space for personal storage.
no littering.

Sports Day 2006

Hello 05V11,

Sports Day has officially come to a close, 3 days ago in fact. Well, this year’s edition has witnessed quite some many changes from last year I must say. Hmm, first and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the 5 events offered, went down to support, or helped in their own little way. This year saw much more participation on everyone’s part, and much more nagging and pestering from me. At least we enjoyed it all =). Well you guys better had. Haha.

Well, I’m not sure if we actually did better than last year, but what was really important was the class spirit that we exhibited, but which sadly we didn’t bank on much to our advantage, and which slowly diminished and died down. We can always blame unfortunate events, unforeseen mishaps, such as wing yan and rui qi’s injury, or the sheer coincidental arrangement and timing of stuff that people had on which clashed with heats and stuff, such that we could not have performed better. I’m not about to turn this post into a sad one, but all I can say is that given more cooperation, anticipation, participation, and a little more initiative from everyone we would have seen a happier ending for everyone, but we have ourselves to blame, and I am deeply sorry and apologetic to all that I have let down and disappointed, for much of the responsibility I have to shoulder.

Everyone seems a bit jaded of late. I’m not too sure if it has got anything to do at all with the workload, or with the events that happened during sports day, but let’s all brace ourselves for future events that we can possibly do better in. I know I’m not exactly the best motivator out there, the best person to do the job, but I do hope that once again, we will gel together as a class and show the others what we have got. V11 POWER!

Lastly, congratulations to everyone that did well and did our class proud! And to our 4 x 100 team, I am very proud of you guys even though we got disqualified. So don’t be too disappointed, because you guys already did your best. Special thanks goes to Marianne, Jovena, Diane, Leanne, Jia yi, Sarah, Rui qi, Margaret, Wu yue, Wing yan, Qian yu, Janice, Sandra, Hao tang, Leon, Eric, Yee jek, Wen shu, Daniel, Zheng chen, Leqiao, Shannon, Yin xun, and Yan le for participating, and to the rest of the V11ers for lending support. A very big thank you once again.

Invigorate’s ours to own. Secret training at parkway? ;)

With sincerest regards,
Nick

Helmsman week 2.0

haven't posted anything for exactly a month.
veeoneone had been stagnant for close to 2 weeks.
guess sch had been really hectic and we are all jus so tied down by e tests, assignments, tasks, group projects, service learning, research module and yade yade.....

this helmsman week had been quite a good rest. we finally had some fun and laughter after weeks of chionging work. plus there wasn't any "take-home" helmsman work to do. but jus when we were about to absorb the nourishment of this comfort, it ended. it ended today. and in approximately 3 days time, we will be thrust back into reality. the painful n dreadful mugging cycle of ip2 students shall begin again.

i shan't tire your eyes or energy (save them for next week) by reading more of my poor ang moh. lets feed on some captured memories of the week. maybe they can help to motivate us and give us some strength to battle the days ahead. chill~!

* pics taken with a fog filter. so have a dreamy, blurry effect on them.
